Usually podcasts are a bit more of a conversation between two people and less of them talking at you. And that’s sort of what it feels like. Many suggestions are good, but they aren’t stories of what happened, how they reacted, etc., that feels meaningful and helpful. It’s too generic. I really like the content and topics but it’s painful to listen to the scripted “conversation.” Listeners expect a podcast to be conversational, not read word-for-word in a way that attempts to sound spontaneous but clearly isn’t. It’s like a confusing mix between an audiobook, theater play and podcast.
