  • A bit dreary and tedious

I started listening a couple of months ago and really enjoy the interviews with runners. The only problem is that to listen to them you have to trudge through the half and hour or so of weekly update of ‘ooh my breakfast was too hot and my knee was a bit niggly before my long run’ or ‘I bought a meal deal on the way home from swimming’ which doesn’t grab my attention at all. Despite this the podcast is well presented and produced but not for me.

  • The AI for the episode description and guest intros is terrible. Other than that solid running chat but #ad heavy

  • Getting into it. Really good chat with Eddie/Gary. I really really really hate the AI intros though.

Great listen when out for a long run. Don’t know how they stay so cheery and fresh for two hours every week. Love listening to the interviews. My favourite podcast at the moment.

What a fool I was. After being irresistibly sucked into a conversation on the Facebook group about Lakeland events and realizing that Gary had in fact been the RD of one of my favorite ever races (as well as a reformed road runner, wh... more
