  • My favourite running podcast

It’s funny, honest and full of great advice. It’s also much more entertaining and relatable than a lot of running podcasts and I always look forward to new episodes.

  • Mean spirited

I think this podcast hides behind being “honest”, when it’s really very mean spirited. There’s lots of snide remarks about other runners, podcasts and influencers that come across as jealousy.

There’s lots is pseudo-psychology being bandied around that is harmful more than helpful, especially when you’re masquerading as a running coach (when you have no qualifications).

I do appreciate the attempt to “be real”, but I think other podcast do this better and without resorting to swearing and tear... more

  • Newly sober newly running LOVE THIS SHOW

I found Allie because the magic computer cookies recommended me her book/pod as I’m newly sober and gorging on all the quit lit stuff. I have always known that when I finally quit the booze I would become obsessed with running/exercise (still gotta get those highs 😬). Now I’m no ultra runner (one day) but Allie and her co hosts have so much good advice that is transferable to any level of running/sport, and just to life in general. Particularly love this series as it is about success. And extra... more
