Sadly, this podcast just isn’t for me anymore. It feels like it lacks both structure and a clear sense of purpose and the episodes no longer come across as educational or inspiring.
More concerning, though, is the tone. At times, Allie Bailey comes across as unnecessarily harsh, with meanness framed as “honesty.” There’s a sense of imbalance - expecting empathy and support for personal struggles, while offering little of the same in return and instead publicly and aggressively criticising other... more
Committed runner for 30 years but not on Strava, never done an ultra but love the trails. This podcast is new to me and loving it. So funny but also I’m learning loads. Kinda good that I have tonnes of episodes to listen to. Cheers
A huge thank you to you and your co-hosts for the podcast. It’s been incredibly valuable in my own running journey, especially during longer runs and ultra attempts. Your advice has helped me more than I can explain and most importantly it’s helped me learn to be kinder to myself along the way. Thank you for being so honest, genuine, and real. I’m really looking forward to your second book.
I love this podcast so much, it’s the only one I listen to religiously. it’s funny, inspiring, honest and brave. Allie and her co-hosts Kirsty and Holly are fab and I’m basically a huge fan!
To be honest I don’t listen to much other than running podcasts and the odd comedy one because I’m sad like that but I absolutely LOVE this one. Allie is a skilled host and I love Holly and Kirsty as co-hosts.
My favourite thing about RWSY pod is the straight-talking kindness, honesty and wisdom that all of the presenters offer. They are generous with their insights and clearly care about their audience.
It always feels like a good chat with friends and I save it for either my long runs or... more

A lively, no-nonsense running show hosted by Allie Bailey, with rotating co-hosts who are seasoned runners and coaches. Episodes balance practical coaching, mindset, and safety with candid storytelling from ultrarunning and race-directing worlds. The common throughline centers on doing hard things, sustaining motivation, and keeping a healthy relationship with endurance sport, all wrapped in humor and strong group banter. Listeners likely value honesty, actionable advice, and a community-driven approach to running that goes beyond elite performance. A standout aspect is the emphasis on mental health, inclusivity, and mindful pacing, delivered with a refreshingly blunt, relatable voice that aims to demystify running culture without taking it... more
