I started going back to listen to many of the episodes again. This was so much better than the live YouTube videos they do nowadays. This was organized, gold directed, and informative. What they are putting on YouTube is chaotic, tangential, and often boring. They talk for about 20 minutes before anything meaningful comes out. And since there are no chapters you just have to bear with it until you hear something good. Sure wish they’d bring back this podcast. I think Cameron brought structure an... more
A podcast about Taylor guitars, people who play them, sustainability, making and appreciating music.
This is a great podcast from Taylor. It has a good balance between information, entertainment and interviews with artists as well as some pretty rad performances. It's also interesting to get an inside perspective about the Taylor brand. Great job TG!
This is a very funny and informative podcast. I learn something and laugh out loud during each episode. I’m glad the frequency has now become more regular, because I look forward to each installment.
The main character in the newspaper comic“Get Fuzzy” can be seen sporting a sweet Taylor guitar T-shirt. (5/26/19)
Product placement anyone?
A well done, professionally produced podcast about Taylor guitars as well as many topics associated with all things acoustic guitar. The variety of interviews cover all kinds of topics related to the guitar you buy and play - production, wood supply management, product deveolment, etc. I always learn something new. Well done !
As an over the road truck driver and guitar geek, I tend to listen to a lot of podcast to fill the day while driving. When “From the factory” showed up in my podcast feed I thought this is either going to be a Taylor infomercial or it’s going to be really boing, how wrong could I be.
I loved this podcast, it was so good I binged listen to all the available episodes. My only complaint would be that the episodes aren’t released on a regular basis. Somebody tell Bob this should be a weekly podcas... more
I really enjoy this podcast. I do wish it came out a bit more consistently. Technically this podcast is superb, even allowing for the compressed nature of the medium, the sound of the guitars demoed comes through beautifully. Keep up the great work.
Whether you're a Taylor fanboy (I am) or not, the podcast is great and gives all kinds of tips and insights on how to take care of your guitars. While I enjoy all of the episodes, my favorites are the interviews with long-time Taylor employees. Off the top of my head, I'd recommend starting with #6 No Guitars in the Shower & #10 V-Class Bracing.
My only complaint, which is minimal, is that the podcasts don't come out at regular intervals. It would be nice to know when to expect the next ep... more
I have been catching up on all the past episodes. Found you all through Tony at Acoustic Life, and honestly seeing his face with the v-bracing guitar the other week. You should just send him one as a thank you for the word of mouth. But seriously it is great to get a connection with the persons behind the wonderful instruments that are coming out of the factory. I will say that I do not currently own a Taylor not by lack of want but due to other circumstances. After listening to the Pod Cast... more
I found this through NAMM 2018 V-bracing announcement and went back through the back catalogue. The content is rich and informative and educational and fun.
I started playing guitar 1 year ago and my wife recently bought me a Taylor 114e (awesome). I wanted to learn more about the brand so I searched "Taylor Guitars" in the podcast app. I was pleasantly surprised when I found your "from the factory" podcast. I listened to all the episodes within a week and can't wait for more! Very informative, entertaining, and really shows that at Taylor it's not just about the money, your employees are truly passionate about guitars and what they do and also care... more
Great podcast with Marty Schwartz-it was entertaining and enlightning. One of the best Taylor podcasts so far, well done.
