  • Interesting…but Unbalanced

Guests/references are by far from the Left, such as recent speaker Craig Unger. Credibility is built on facts and consistently being UN-biased… need sources who are apolitical. Enjoy the topics, but question the sources.

  • Far Left

JJ....when is the news story on the far left. See you have another one on the Far Right. Still waiting to see one on the people actually bringing terror to the streets. Maybe that does not align with your “unbiased” news.

  • Deep state propaganda mouthpiece

You say your show is apolitical but all you do is invite total political hacks on your show.

  • Veered into Opinion

Best comment in the Dr. Fauci episode is where JJ stated his podcast stays out of the political theater/commentary. But yet there are multiple instances of opinion based comments being said by JJ and guests that are clearly including opinions and not 100% facts in their commentary.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

522 | Winning the Battle, Losing the War: Inside the Iran Conflict’s Strategic Failure
Q: Have the US and Israel achieved their stated goals operationally, and is that translating into strategic success?
Operational gains are clear—air superiority and degraded military capabilities—yet strategically the campaign has not produced a definitive victory, given the regime's resilience and the global economic and security ripple effects.
522 | Winning the Battle, Losing the War: Inside the Iran Conflict’s Strategic Failure
Q: So where do you see this war headed at this point?
The trajectory points to very tough choices ahead, with continued damage to Iran's missile and drone capabilities, but the regime's persistence and the potential for energy-based or economic leverage creating a stalemate or a broader regional risk.
523 | The War in Iran: Power, Pressure, and the New Global Order
Q: So the bottom line to me, what since you're saying here is it's a bit confusing to figure out what the US objective is and the end state is. Is that right?
Yes, the objective is unclear and the end state is not well-defined, which makes it hard to justify and articulate a coherent plan to the American public and Congress.
520 | The Iran Conflict at the Edge of Escalation
Q: What are the main risks for US forces deployed in the region if this escalation continues?
Main risks include retaliation against US naval assets, potential mass casualty scenarios, and broader regional spillover affecting energy security and allied stability, all while logistics and political support for prolonged engagement are tested.
520 | The Iran Conflict at the Edge of Escalation
Q: Could you give us a brief broad overview of what's driving this conflict beyond the immediate military actions?
The conflict is driven by strategic competition in the region, sanctions pressure, and internal pressures within Iran, with the US aiming to degrade Iran's military and nuclear capabilities while Iran seeks to survive and push back, potentially reshaping its leadership dynamics.
