上回咱们说到，院社争霸战，日本棋院拿雁金准一当学员考试机那么用，派出一众年轻棋手上擂台挑战雁金准一。因为雁金准一所代表的棋正社总共就三个高手，日本棋院已经挨个赢了一个遍了。因此呢，日本棋院现在完全不担心自己会输掉这场擂台赛，就让年轻棋手来感受感受真实战场的氛围。
而雁金准一，让日本棋院这么折腾也是叫苦不迭。每个年轻棋手上来都是一副光脚的不怕穿鞋的架势。面对大名鼎鼎的棋界前辈，输了无所谓，赢了就赚大发了。所以，雁金准一面对这些初生牛犊不怕虎的年轻棋手，实在是有点扛不住了。

上回咱们说到院社争霸战，第一战，本因坊秀哉对战雁金准一。双方陷入一场不死不休的缠斗当中。拿黑棋的雁金准一如果不能冲破白棋的包围圈，将全军覆没，而拿白棋的本因坊秀哉因为追击黑棋的过程中留下了无数的破绽，一旦被黑棋成功逃脱，自己将会面临无尽的攻击。面对这一局势双方都不敢怠慢。

而这次吴清源对战井上孝平，井上孝平是不让子的。如果吴清源这场对局赢了井上孝平，那么就说明中国围棋也有高手了。
