  • Great guests… poor content

Great guests… lots to learn about them… but get to the industry content! To much about your guests greatness and road to masters of the universe that the actual meaningful industry insights and value get lost…

    I tried 5 different pods and it’s a pattern.

  • Great listen for anyone in media/tech/startup world.

This is a great podcast for getting the lowdown on all things digital media. James and Daniel break down complex stuff in a way that's easy to get, but they still pack in some solid insights and tips. If you're into tech, media, startups, entrepreneurship, and all things in between, you should definitely make it your weekly go-to listen.

  • Interesting Content

Great podcast about ad tech and digital marketing. I love hearing about the ups and downs of starting a new company. The episode with Kenan Saleh talking about growing his startup and selling to Lyft was really interesting. Great work, James and Daniel!

Block Cuts 40%, Data Centers vs Offices, and Bots on Bots on Bots | Ft. Bock Exec Dante DiCicco
Q: What excited you most about the AI-enabled procurement shifts for restaurants, and how might this reshape vendor relationships?
AI-enabled procurement can reveal true price transparency and streamline vendor catalogs, enabling better negotiations and cost controls. Restaurants will want systems of record that integrate with procurement data, making it easier to see what's working and where improvements are needed. The biggest shift is moving from traditional SaaS contracts to workforce planning around agents and automated workflows.

Q: How should SMBs, like a restaurant, approach AI adoption given that frontline workers are skeptical and data accuracy matters?
For Main Street businesses, AI should power back-end ops and decision dashboards rather than front-end chat experiences. The focus should be on labor cost optimization, menu data integrity, and procurement efficiency. The key is to provide simple, familiar interfaces that leverage AI behind the scenes to improve outcomes without replacing the essential human touch.

Q: From your experience at Block, how real is the idea of an AI-piled landscape across enterprises, and is this trend unique to Block or more widespread?
My personal view is Block was uniquely positioned due to early, in-house AI tooling and a full-stack approach. Other firms can copy parts, but without the deep employee discovery and internal adoption Block did, it's just headcount changes. The broader trend toward AI-enabled workflows will continue, but the speed and depth depend on whether a company has already embedded AI into core processes and customer-facing workflows.
From Moltbook to Mars, ADSN Heading to the Olympics, Netflix Meets the Senate
Q: What are your thoughts on Netflix's dealings in Washington?
Netflix's antitrust hearing raised more questions about its practices rather than the antitrust issues themselves, leading to a perception of the hearing as somewhat farcical.
From Moltbook to Mars, ADSN Heading to the Olympics, Netflix Meets the Senate
Q: What is going on with this Moltbook concept?
Moltbook represents a new social network where AI agents interact without human involvement, making it an innovative concept in advertising.
