Her advice is helping me to re-evaluate my career break to-date and to make the rest of it even more rewarding. I only wish I had started listening sooner! Thank you, Katrina and James, for sharing your thoughtful content i... more

Super practical and to the point. Love to listen while taking care of errands. Makes them so much easier to complete :)
My favorite episode so far was The 3B Framework – How Burnout, Betrayal, and Blossom Shape Career Breaks
As someone who’s taken the heart-stopping plunge of quitting their job to take a much needed break, I can say Katrina’s podcast is one of the invaluable tools that helped me feel OK about my break. Episodes cover topics for those considering a break or who are already on one, and the content is always honest, heartfelt, and insightful. Katrina and her co-host James are both multi-career-breakers themselves and it really shows. 100% recommended.
I found Katrina McGhee via her “for dummies” book, “Taking a Career Break.” For those who prefer to listen instead of read, this podcast is an excellent option! It’s full of tips and tricks and espouses the importance of career breaks. I’ve found them to be extremely important both mentally and physically.
