  • Great Pod

I am a fan of Scarlets book “Afraid Of All The Things” so I was excited when I found out she was a co host of a podcast. You all are so fun to listen to and have inspired me to read more. Two thumbs up! Highly recommend.

  • Books books and wonderful host

A woman, Canadian and a beach bum walked into a recording booth to talk about books. I enjoy the show every week.

  • For bookish people

Really fun to listen to, especially if you’re into all things books and reading. Love Aaron and Scarlet but honestly, that Dave guy tends to dominate a lot and he is really quite dull and drags things out as he’s trying to find the right words. I often have to skip ahead when he starts talking. Otherwise .. it’s a fun time!

I’m getting great reading recommendations, challenged to read outside of my usual literary fare, and enjoying the banter between the guys. This podcast has also helped alleviate the tension I’ve felt between reading good literature verses reading good theological books. Both have value for Christians and this podcast affirms this, not through pontification, but through their genuine joy in readin... more
