  • What a 5th Test Match but fans were short changed

What an incredible hour on Day 5 at the Oval! But there is a sinister profiteering side. The ECB and in this case Surrey CCC / The Oval decided in their wisdom that there are no refunds on day 5 for under 15 / 30 overs of play in the 5th test match v India! To add insult to injury The Oval’s policy is different to say Lord’s where Day 5 is included within the refund policy! So all those fans going to The Oval paying £25 for a Day 5 ticket hoping for a full day’s play and adding to the atmospher... more

  • World Test Championship dropouts

England’s decision to ignore qualifying for the WTC Final seems to have flown under the “it’s all about the Ashes” radar in most of the media! It is a national disgrace that we failed to get even close to qualification due to poor results and a failure to acknowledge the over rate rules! Why have there been no resignations from the team management and ECB administration? If this had occurred for any other England sports team heads would be rolling!!!
