In the week when some cricketers, notably spinners such as Adil Rashid, were bought for astronomical sums in The Hundred auction, Monty Panesar reflects on his first Test appearance exactly 20 years ago. It was in Nagpur in March 2006 where the man ... more

Become a laughable podcast, no editing already makes it very amateurish then the completely pro India commentary around the T20 WC is very unbecoming. Don’t listen if you want objective analysis
Really like the podcast - but, good God, the unannounced advertising - Betfair, Nord VPN, TNT - is almost like watching a tawdry 80s American romcom full of obvious product placement.
Keep the adverts out of the editorial. I know they pay you money for this legalised lying but your integrity is worth more.
Really like the show, followed Hughes as a player in the 80s & got all his books, both are good with the way they come across. The show about Field of Dreams is fantastic, if one lad stays straight & is a good honest person it’s success.
I could not disagree more with the position taken from the contributors on here! The match conditions clearly state BOTH captains have to agree to a draw at the final hour mark. India made the decision to bat on and that is there right! Their paying fans (unlike journalists who get to watch free) wanted to see hundreds from Jadeja and Sundar so why should Gill disappoint them! Just because England’s captain and players, supported by members of the British media, disagree with the decision and pr... more
Have listened to this since the beginning and enjoy the two Simon’s analysis. However I am finding the current betting adverts hard to take, particularly the constant weaving of the odds into the dialogue at the start of each episode. I know they have to pay the bills, but surely they recognise the damage done by gambling addiction? Not sure I can take much more and don’t want to have to skip the first 5 minutes of each episode.
