Hello and welcome to episode 184, and as it turns out, the last episode of the Sustainable(ish) podcast! I wanted to try and get to 200, and I’m annoyed not even to be ending on a nice round number like 185, but often in life things aren’t tied up in... more

I am so glad Jen has launched this podcast. Sometimes she doesn’t seem to realise just how inspirational her writing and talking is. Her inimitable relaxed style guides you through today’s big environmental issues and instead of leaving you overwhelmed she will empower you to make changes to the way you live that can make a real difference. I have learnt so much from Jen over the years and I know others have too. Listen to this - you’ll love it and it will show how we can all make a difference.
Love this podcast! Jen hits the perfect balance between real life and full-on green, proposing do-able change and introducing a brilliant range of guests who both inspire and provoke !
Jen’s a great conversationalist: there’s no lecture or reams of dry facts and no fluff either. Just engaging, informative and enlightening chats with guests from organisations (mainly UK-based) that offer positive, practical advice, support & solutions that directly relate to the lives of most of us who consider ourselves a “normal/average citizen”. Never preachy, always helpful.
From uplifting stories about climate change (yes, they exist!) to helpful tricks and tips for the everyday consumer, Sustainable(ish) is an approachable, entertaining and engaging podcast!
A cheerfully presented, optimistic podcast about the importance of individual actions in combating the climate crisis.
I LOVE this podcast, it’s easily my favourite and makes me feel empowered and informed around climate change, I recommend it to anyone I speak to who is interested in the topic of climate change, it’s not scary like some can be, have a listen!
This is a super podcast. Practical, hopeful and optimistic. We need to get off our backsides and do something but unlike other commentators, Jen gives you a gentle push and not big big kick of guilt. It certainly makes you feel that the small things we can do as individuals will add up but we still need to push government and the private polluters to do the right thing through our collective voices.
So glad the podcast is back Jen, this has been one of the most valuable podcasts I listen to, full of honest practical advice , that the ordinary person can put into practice, to alleviate the burden of climate change. As you say someone needs to do something & it starts with us.
Looking forward to hearing future episodes & getting back to basics is a great start.
Many thanks for what you do, Sam 🤗
So glad this podcast is back! It’s an easy listen but Jen has great guests and solo episodes that give ideas on how we can live a more sustainable life.
Love the good news feature. Welcome back!
I’m so glad you’re back, and also appalled that I hadn’t rated and reviewed yet.
I love this podcast - the most accessible and easy listening of all my remaining eco podcasts and much needed to lighten the load of eco anxiety! Thank you
I really love Jen's podcasts! They agreed a wide range of issues but give practical tips on actual steps to take so things feel less scary and out of control! And the brilliant and informed speakers are always interesting, relatable and down to earth. Have had so many ideas from these that I’ve actioned myself or shared. Thanks so much Jen!
Full of interesting and inspiring stuff. Such a huge range of interviewees and so many ways to help tackle climate crisis and live more a sustainable (ish) way… and without making you feel judged or rubbish.
I love this podcast!! It’s so good to listen to sustainability presented in a really accessible and non-judgemental way - we don’t have to do it all perfectly! I find it really empowering and inspiring
Jen interviews such a wide range of people working in sustainability. Nearly every week I take away actions that I can do without too much effort. I’ve been pushing our school to make changes and this podcast has given me so many ideas for this as well.
There’s always a positive tone and it’s always inspiring. It is accessible for anyone, whatever their level of understanding of sustainability. Thank you Jen for all the useful information.
