  • Perfect mix of spiritual + biz advice

Loved hearing Teal Swan (#425) open up about the BTS of her business. Great reminder for when shiny syndrome kicks in - that all business is business, and each comes with a different mix of challenges, no matter how ‘easy’ it looks from the outside

  • Advertising is a bit too much

The contents are amazing and I always very impressed how Jason could summarise the whole episode in such concise and insightful way. But the recent advertisements inserted into the contents are too much. It's understandable to have some CTA for conversions, but sometimes those advertisements are like few minutes. I think it's a good idea to just have maximum one sponsor per episode

  • Great advice

This podcast is a unique blend of heartfelt wisdom and practical insights. The host brings an unwavering commitment to the idea that selling should be a force for good in the world. So far my favorite is the one with Dr. Srikumar Rao.

  • Actionable Gold

Jason has a distinctly engaging way of sharing stories that leave the listener with actionable insights. Inspiration is great - but without action it doesn’t do much to improve our lives.

Every episode, I’ve found myself reflecting days and weeks later on some point that was made, and in those moments I’m reminded to take the next step if I haven’t already.

Add into that candid interviews with some of the most impactful thought leaders across the globe and we have just what the title of thi... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Fastest Way to Get High Ticket Clients — Tanya Lopez
Q: What are the recommended formats for your very first events if you're trying to ensure you bring people together?
A two-to-three hour in-person workshop is a strong starting point for first-time events, with flexibility for longer formats if content supports it, and an emphasis on creating an immersive experience rather than a one-hour pitch. A longer format can increase perceived value and engagement.
How He Built and Sold His Business Before 30 — Gavin Bell
Q: How did you handle the sales process when you eventually sold the business?
The sale was positioned as a clear deal where the buyer, an M&A consultancy, approached with an offer; there was little persuasion needed because the business clearly demonstrated its value through pipeline, people, and process, plus a compelling strategic fit for the buyer.
How He Built and Sold His Business Before 30 — Gavin Bell
Q: What were the key factors that made your business attractive to an acquirer?
The main attractors were a strong pipeline generated through their own advertising, a solid team of senior people who could continue delivering results, and robust processes and systems that reduced risk for the buyer after ownership transfer.
How He Built and Sold His Business Before 30 — Gavin Bell
Q: Could you tell us what the business actually did and what it was built to achieve from day one?
Yatter was a paid advertising agency focused on Facebook, Google, TikTok, and Microsoft ads, built from a background as a paid ads consultant. The aim from day one was to create a brand expressly designed for sale, rather than a long-term lifestyle brand, with the end goal of exiting.
This Is How You Actually Build Legacy — Debbie Simmons
Q: What does selling with love mean to you?
Selling with love means entering a sales situation as a complete, authentic presence, caring about the other person's needs, under-promising and over-delivering, and meeting them where they are rather than trying to control the outcome.
