A Little Background for Context...Let me describe my summer. I am a 54 year old elementary teacher, meaning I have the summer off to do a lot of listening to podcasts, and I had major foot surgery in May. I am having both knees replaced, one each of the following two summers. so the discussion of bodies really hit home to me. Oh, I am a chubby--let's be honest, fat--and I had been very active daily until this surgery. I am in a cast now. and no weight-bearing until late August.
