My daughter and I decided to bite the bullet and watch the anime so of course I had to find a pod. I appreciate the comparisons with the manga and absolutely love the insights from someone who speaks Japanese. Just wish they were longer as I have a lot of time at my job to listen.
It’s a very well thought out podcast good pacing and very entertaining and enjoyable.
I have been looking for something that I could vibe with this man is the best and brings in a wealth of manga knowledge to aid in the show. Absolute please to listen to
This is a great podcast that I listen to everyday. It has amazing detail and heaps of replay value. Also, I was wondering if, after you are done with this one, you could do another manga/anime like Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, or Dragon Ball. (Only if you want to). Thanks again for the wonderful listen! :D
It’s very good

Episodes balance recap with deeper dives into themes, world-building, and foreshadowing, making it a solid pick for devoted fans and newcomers who want accessible, spoiler-light entry points before deeper spoilery sections later in the show.
What stands out: a consistent format focused on arc-by-arc rewatching, approachable yet thorough analysis, and a community-friendly vibe that welcomes questions and engagement from listeners. The show appears to attract... more
