  • Reason to smile

As first seasons go, all 10 of the first series have been excellent. Really good format which makes sure the interviewees have to commit and that means bring a lot to the table and Brady & Tom are a very good double act.

Title Triumph: How Huddersfield Town Women Won The League
Q: Was there a particular turning point that convinced you they could win it?
From the Leeds game forward, the team regained confidence, injuries were managed, and players returned from injury, which together created a belief they could clinch the title.
Q&A with Huddersfield Town chairman Kevin Nagle
Q: What decisions over the past two seasons have cost the club the most, and what have you changed about your personal decision making?
Nagle cites hindsight and managerial turnover as significant costs, noting that patience with some managers could have helped, and that injuries and transmission of teams when players were out required adaptive decision making, including a focus on playing attacking football and improving player development.
My Town: Beth Ibbotson
Q: What's it like playing in front of big crowds and with the shifting investment in the club?
She notes that the crowds add energy and momentum, the club's backing has increased professionalism and quality, and this shift has been a major driver in raising the level of play and expectations between seasons.
My Town: Beth Ibbotson
Q: Can you remember your first game for Huddersfield Town, and what stood out on that day?
Beth recalls joining in January 2020 during COVID, with her first memory being a match against West Brom where the team's warmth and togetherness helped her settle in, and the season's context of early professionalism beginning to take shape.
My Town: Graeme Rayner
Q: What stands out most about the Wagner era and its impact on the club?
Wagner changed the culture and gave the team a sense of no limits and underdog spirit, which revitalized the town's football identity and created lasting optimism among fans.
