This podcast is a great one to listen to as a teacher! There are so many great takeaways from listening to each episode. I love that they are a variety of lengths so I can pick one that fits the amount of time I have. I find the range of topics so helpful to choose from so I can learn more about the areas of literacy I’m working on!! Thanks for all you do to make this podcast so valuable!
I have enjoyed listening to helpful tips. Everything seems very easy to follow or add to my classroom.
This is my go to podcast. I listen often on my way to school. Fluency became something we did assessments on but there was no black and white plan. The majority of students stayed the same for the whole year. We tried some things from our main curriculum BUT SLC makes sense to teachers and fits into our curriculum! I cannot wait to see this year’s results!
I listened to a show about the importance of including read alouds with older students. I like to do this even with my 4th graders after teaching mostly in 1st grade in my career. I got a lot of good ideas about planning for read alouds!
I have been doing the Stellar Teacher Summer series. Then, I have been listening to the Summer podcast episodes. These are excellent to reiterate what I’ve learned in class, and to help me think about the information again. Everything that I have listened to so far has been amazing. Short and simple, with easy to implement ideas and strategies. I am learning so much! It feels like I’m talking with my best friends.
