STARGIRL is a mythology I created to make sense of things. It’s a show about girls who stand out, but it’s also a way to understand the world through patterns, both externally (by examining the type of women who reign over public life), and internally (by exploring how we deploy our own forces of projection). It’s a call to get into your body and follow your intuition—to explore your admiration an... more

This week, I share my observations on the dominant cultural patterns of Fall 2025, most of which can be traced back to the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) craze sweeping through New York and hot girl Internet circles (think: breakfast soup, season... more

What on earth happened here? I used to listen because it’s fun to sound off about the antics of the likes of Lena Dunham, Alison Roman, whoever, but the MAGA/MAHA pivot is disgusting. The episode with the alternative-health functional-medicine doctor, where they both mock infertile people who use Western medicine and wonder why so many of us are infertile, with the host low-key snickering about it was a punch in the gut as someone who can’t have children and was thus made to feel a monster. No, ... more
I’ve never written a review for a podcast before, and as a top listener (according to Spotify) for 2 years, I wanted to highlight this show as being one of the most thoughtful, thought provoking podcasts currently available. I’m a big podcast listener, and most podcasts are boring. The topic isn’t realistically enough to regularly bring forth interesting episodes. I listen to every episode, I personally like the solo episodes and the interviews, I think Emma does a great job at choosing topics a... more
New to this podcast, just listened to Episode 25, Ballerina Farm which was very interesting and informative. I enjoy Ballerina Farm and Hannah’s recipes and love of dance along with 10.4 million followers! The word ‘like’ was used way too many times in this episode, apart from that 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.
I typically do not write reviews as they are time-consuming, and I want my review to be perfectly detailed if I do write one. This podcast is worth leaving a long review for. I somehow stumbled upon this gem of a podcast when I was looking into the fascination on Addison Rae. I couldn’t quite pinpoint why she appealed so much to me, why I am so protective of Addison…but the deep dive on her gave me more insight and a way to understand why she has such unique appeal. That lead me into looking int... more
I came for Dasha, stayed for Lena Dunham, Lana & Sally Rooney… it’s SO COOL to find someone talking seriously and so in depth about these women. I’ve always felt like other media outlets didn’t really “get” them, continually assigning the wrong journalist to cover them. I love Emma’s own personality typing/archetypes that’s she’s come up with too. So creative!
Update: where are the classic Stargirl episodes? Missing them so much :(
