At first glimpse, Stan and I don’t have a ton in common: I am liberal jock from California that leans agnostic. I also work at a white shoe law firm with a bunch of over-educated folks. Both fancy partners at my law firm and my Pops — who lives in a trailer in deep-red Nor. California fine Stan’s messages accessible. Both camps FEEL the strength and import of Stan’s message, and that is a talent!

This podcast follows a unique formula. Mitchell reports on current events with defense or military themes that are usually under appreciated elsewhere in the media, looking at these stories with a fresh perspective. His lack of hype and hubris, replaced by generous doses of optimism, is noteworthy. I like his style and hope more people will find value in these episodes.
