  • So helpful!

I found the podcast just when I needed it and it was so crucial in my healing and divorce. Kristin is amazing and asks great questions and I learned so much about what had gone down in my relationship. I am so sad the podcast is ending, but I hope the old episodes will still be available to people in the future. It is so, so helpful for people who feel so alone in discovering their partner has a whole other life they don’t know about.

  • Too much grace given to the gays

The podcast is supposed to help straight spouses but it gives too much grace and credit to the non-straight cheating, lying spouses. Unsubscribing

  • Acceptance

This podcast has served me during my journey over the last year. I’m currently on a solo vacation taking time to reflect on my recent divorce from a man who came out as gay. I love Kristin’s voice. It provides me with hope for my future. Betrayal is a BEAST! I’ve made space to heal and grow since my ex husband came out. Kristin’s calm voice is soothing. I’d love to share my story with you.

S7 Ep 4: Coming Out as a Late Life Lesbian with Anne-Marie Zanzal
Q: Why did she tell me she's bi? She's not bi, she's a lesbian.
Many women may identify as bisexual initially due to societal pressures, making it easier to accept, even though they ultimately may find their true identity to be lesbian.
S7 Ep 11: The Time to Pay It Forward is Now with David Harte
Q: Did your wife and you ever have a moment where you talked about her coming to realize that she was a lesbian?
Yes, they spoke a bit about it, but the discussions were difficult due to his emotional state at the time.
S7 Ep 7: A Detransitioned Man Shares His Motives for Becoming a Trans Woman so Wives Can Better Understand their Spouses
Q: What can you advise wives regarding their husbands' transitions?
Know that escalation is intrinsic to the phenomenon; many trans women may continue to push boundaries in their explorations of gender and femininity.
S7 Ep 7: A Detransitioned Man Shares His Motives for Becoming a Trans Woman so Wives Can Better Understand their Spouses
Q: What precipitated your detransition?
It was partly health-related but also an ideological shift after being exposed to de-transition narratives, realizing that I didn't have to take on a trans identity that caused many psychological problems in my life.
S7 Ep 7: A Detransitioned Man Shares His Motives for Becoming a Trans Woman so Wives Can Better Understand their Spouses
Q: Can you just give a little bit of a definition of what being a detransitioner means?
It means that I took hormones for eight years and stopped that medicalization pathway. I no longer called myself trans and reverted back to identifying with my male identity.
