  • Awesome

Craig is awesome to listen to, his skills are top notch. Love when he has George from USA Today on wish they could do a little more CFB. Like what Craig pulls out of George. Like it if Craig could do CFB coach interviews so we could get to know these guys.

  • Love all the Sports Animal podcasts

I love all the sports animal podcast, but for some reason they are the only ones that won't automatically download. It started about 3 months ago, it says there are no new podcasts but then I search in the podcast store and there are new episodes there, the date says dec 2000 so it's not showing up new

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ravis on NBA Player Movement
Q: Is LeBron likely to take a minimum, MLE, or max contract to join a contender?
The hosts doubt a minimum or MLE is likely for LeBron and expect him to pursue maximizing earnings while still aiming to contend, with the discussion highlighting teams that could realistically fit his value.
Matt on the Thunder and OU Baseball
Q: Let me first ask you about the report on Hartenstein's three-year, $75 million contract and how it fits into the Thunder's long-term plan.
Justin Martinez explained that the deal stabilizes a key piece for the present while keeping options open, especially with a mutual option in the final year that could allow adjustments; it's framed as a strategic fit for now rather than an overextension.
Matt on the Thunder, OU and OSU Football, and OU Baseball
Q: Talk to me about how you guys were able to essentially, in the postseason, nearly double your home run production from the entire year.
Dasan Harris and Kyle Branch describe the postseason mindset shift to aggressive offense, the coaching influence, and the players' adaptation that fueled the power surge.
Matt on the Thunder, OU and OSU Football, and OU Baseball
Q: Did you think you had a better chance of getting French? Talk to me about that play, because I thought the significance of that play was massive in that ball game.
Dasan Harris explains the strategic decision to throw to third base on a key play, acknowledging the outs and the momentum shift it created for the team.
Matt on the Thunder, OU and OSU Football, and OU Baseball
Q: Kyle, I want to ask you about your season specifically.
Kyle Branch reflects on his year, highlighting personal growth, defensive excellence, and the impact of the lineup on his performance, while crediting the team's overall development and coaching for the season.
