  • Not Impressed

Lewis seems knowledgeable and can communicate. The other 2 guys on the episode I listened to were awful.

  • Lousy attitude

All these guys do is complain about EVERYTHING. Don’t waste your time and find one of the much better media pods.

  • Solid show

Drew needs to cut the vocal fry. Talk like a grown up. I wish they’d give more details. Too often it’s something like “this game did well” or “up from last year.” Tell me the specific numbers!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

NFL media rights price tag, baseball ratings and voices, and FloSports CEO Mark Floreani joins the pod
Q: How is FloSports using AI to scale production and maintain quality across thousands of events, and what impact does that have on employment and roles within the company?
AI is like an Iron Man suit for our team, amplifying productivity and creativity rather than eliminating jobs. It speeds up editing, enables higher-quality output, and frees staff to focus on more strategic, creative work rather than repetitive tasks.
NFL media rights price tag, baseball ratings and voices, and FloSports CEO Mark Floreani joins the pod
Q: Mark, how does FloSports position itself in a landscape where the top leagues are dominated by a few big players, and what problems are you solving for the rest of the market?
We're solving different problems. Instead of competing head-on with NFL-level events, we streamline access to tens of thousands of middle-to-long-tail sports by providing the infrastructure, data, and production capabilities that smaller leagues and schools need to reach fans reliably and profitably.
World Series and Dodgers voice Joe Davis joins the pod; Plus: Mike Tirico's moment and an Olympics wrap
Q: What's it like replacing Vin Scully and Joe Buck, and how has that shaped your approach to long-form storytelling in baseball?
Replacing legends carries weight, but it also provides a blueprint; you honor the past while developing your own voice by studying greats like Vin and Buck and then bringing your unique perspective to the moment.
World Series and Dodgers voice Joe Davis joins the pod; Plus: Mike Tirico's moment and an Olympics wrap
Q: How would you say you've evolved in those big postseason moments since you started calling World Series games for Fox?
It started with earning the Dodgers' job in 2016 and then getting repeated practice with dozens of big moments each regular season, which builds the confidence and muscle memory needed to frame and deliver on the national stage.
Super Bowl ratings, Washington Post cuts, ESPN-NFL deal, RSN collapse, Winter Olympics and Joe Davis preview
Q: What is it like working with Greg Olson?
Joe Davis highlights the great chemistry they share, having similar life stages and learning a lot from each other.
