  • North Melbourne centenary

Disappointed you didn’t go to this important event for your club

As a former Collingwood player we expect better than that!

I saw the historic 1975 Premiership and wow how good was that

The players would have loved you there but more importantly the fans

You know how important the fans are you were the one they came to watch!

No one is bigger than the club this was a celebration for all the levels of North Melbourne and l believe in time you will regret not going

I do agree the 1975 Premiership... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Peter Moody: From Charleville Dust to Doncaster Glory
Q: Is there anything you saw there today that sort of broke the clock or anything like that, Moods?
Moody hints at what he's working on at the trials but keeps specific details under wraps, maintaining a balance between sharing insights and protecting strategic information.
Peter Moody: From Charleville Dust to Doncaster Glory
Q: Peter Moody, I guess, on Sport and Life today. And, Peter, just going back to your school days, back in North Queensland, a thousand miles from anywhere, who spelt she's a alibi?
Moody isn't sure about the spelling and suggests it was another Central Queenslander; the remark shows the playful, informal tone of the interview while touching on Moody's origins.
Rene Kink: Seven Grand Finals, No Regrets
Q: Who was your toughest opponent when you played?
Ross Lyon was one of the toughest opponents, a hard-nosed competitor who gave little space and tested him consistently, though there were many formidable players across his career.
Rene Kink: Seven Grand Finals, No Regrets
Q: Do you still watch the modern game, René, and what are your thoughts on how it's evolved?
Yes, I watch it and have opinions on many changes; I admire the players but feel the game has evolved beyond some of the elements I loved, yet the core passion remains and you have to accept the new rules as part of the sport's evolution.
Ted Whitten Jnr: Legacy, Loyalty and Life as Mr Football’s Son
Q: Did your dad's presence and history ever feel like pressure, or did you use it as motivation to carve your own path?
It was mostly a motivational force; being an only child meant there was constant attention, but he taught me to focus on my own journey and not compare myself unfairly to him.
