  • SO FUN!

Oh my goodness, what FUN! Doyle and Howie are hilarious and do such a great job with their entire format of the show! It's the best time I've had guesting on a pod, EVER. Great conversationalists, loose style, lots of room for improv and laughter. We had such a great time...and their use of AI is really interesting. Blended into the show seamlessly, their use of AI opens new doors to understanding the self and even more dynamic conversation.

S6-EP10: The Dyslexic Professor: How Russell Van Brocklin Is Rewiring Education
Q: What is the practical, at-home method you demonstrated for fixing misspelled writing in elementary kids?
The method uses a stepwise process: identify a child's interests, create a focused writing template, replace placeholders with the child's name and interests, and progressively build correct spelling and grammar through iterative reading aloud and retyping until accuracy improves.
S6-EP10: The Dyslexic Professor: How Russell Van Brocklin Is Rewiring Education
Q: Can you summarize dyslexia as you see it and what ultimately differs in your approach from traditional schooling?
Dyslexia is presented as a brain-based processing difference rather than a deficit, with the approach prioritizing specific strengths and structured, bite-sized interventions that move learners from struggle to high-level writing and reasoning.
S6-EP10: The Dyslexic Professor: How Russell Van Brocklin Is Rewiring Education
Q: So, okay, you are the number one guest in Podmatch. How did that happen and why did that happen?
Russell explains that his success on Podmatch came from a combination of momentum, strategic outreach, and a very selective pitching process driven by his dyslexia-focused expertise, which resonated with podcast hosts looking for practical, science-backed education storytelling.
S6-EP8: Advancing Others with Dom Brightmon, the Positive Thought Catalyst
Q: Why do you believe libraries are still vital in our digital age?
Libraries serve as community centers, providing resources and support beyond just books.
