Looking forward to going through the list of podcast from yourselves. Highly recommend and thank you

Stories About Autism: A Dad’s Perspective
Q: What advice would you give to help society understand, support and love him the way he deserves?

Supporting Emotional Regulation At Home
Q: Do you have any tips for emotion coaching in stressful or public situations?
Preempting and pre-coaching your children can be effective. Talk about feelings, use familiar strategies beforehand, and incorporate a safe word for when they feel overwhelmed.
Managing School Transitions & Anxiety
Q: What are your thoughts on encouraging a child to attend school when they are absolutely refusing?
There needs to be a balance between understanding the child's feelings and the parent's anxiety about school. It's essential to identify if the anxiety is from the child or parent and consider the right context of education for the child.
The SEND Crisis
Q: Is it true that schools have to exhaust all their resources and spend at least £6,000 of the SEN budget before they can apply for an EHCP for a child?
No, that is not true. The legal test for an EHCP assessment is straightforward and does not require prior expenditure.
