For most of the season of Southbridge I was going to judge it two stars, because the story is just so unclear and the character motivations blurred that it's a frustrating listen. There is mystery and purposeful vagueness for the sake of story pushing, but then there's poor writing. I simply couldn't ground myself in this story world or relate to the characters whatsoever.
Then in the final few episodes, almost out of the blue, the big twist arrives and belatedly adds some much needed context.... more

Really effecting audio drama with fantastic audio production - sound effects and backing tracks throughout. The pacing here is super fast at times, slow and pensive at others. Give it some time to get immersed into it, embrace the mystery of it, and you’ll love it.
