When I found this podcast I thought "huzzah! a hisotry of sneakers!!" Interviews with Stan Smith and Steve Van Doren episodes were interesting but lacking.
I wanted a straight history, no filler, no jive. A " the Rest is History for Sneakers" would be great but this ain't it.
One of the most informative sneaker podcast out there. This is a good teaching tool for any sneaker head new and old to learn about the real stories behind the shoes they love. IF YOU ARE A SNEAKER HEAD listen to this podcast.
Many thanks for all those priceless interviews, wicked panel of knowledge right there. And glad my 2 buddies Richie and Sam had the opportunity to talk about our mutual love for NB for the last episode. A big bravo !
One of the most interesting podcasts I’ve listened to.
It’s great to get some content on trainers/sneakers that people in the UK can relate to. The lads before this are the real deal, and it shoes through the passion in their voices.
Fun stories! Very informative had no idea about some of the shoes. Different brands and owners decisions of shoe companies! Great info! Looking forward to more!
U will love them even more for the right reasons because the stories are so informative and addictive! Let’s dive into the core of culture we love so much by really owning it fully. Learn it and own it!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Great to have a podcast from guys who love trainers/sneakers. Guys who are totally relatable and bring a refreshing voice to the culture. And I’m sure the content they will bring is endless and high quality. Keep it dope and real 👊🏼
Great podcast guys. Can you do an episode about the casuals scene? I’m sure
Many of your listeners were young teenagers in the early 80s and remember this period fondly. I was lucky enough to have had Diadora Borg Elite, Adidas SL82 and Forest Hills 82, Nike Wimbledon at the time - wish I still had them now. There were so many great trainers around at the time.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Simon, Jersey
What a joyful podcast to be gifted with and for FREE. Stan Smith, what a legend. A great way to pass the time and interviewed so well by the guys. Highly recommend!
