It’s totally fine. I generally enjoy it, the hosts seem very genuine and they have great energy. Sometimes they have interesting takes, but their analysis and reporting are often worse than other daily or weekly business and economics podcasts. Whenever they happen to discuss a topic I know more about, I notice they’re imprecise and/or their take is quite flawed. I’m Cole (listener since before the name change) and I work at Lucid Bots in Charlotte, NC. On the 3/27 pod you said “Licid Drones”…our flagship product is a drone, but we make many robots with the goal of automating the jobsite.
Love the show!
I have to take a moment to write to both of you and tell you, I’ve been listening to you since the Robin Hood days. I’m not one for writing reviews, but I want both of you to know how great your podcast is! I’ve recruited several listeners over the years, your energy is amazing, the stories are always entertaining and educational. Thank you for what you do. Maybe one day I will get to meet you at one of your live events.
Been listening since the Robinhood days and still just as hooked. What I love most is that I sometimes forget I’m even listening to business news — it’s that engaging. The delivery is concise, often funny, and easy to follow, which makes it stick. I find myself sharing TBOY insights with others all the time. It’s become a consistent part of my morning routine — and something I genuinely look forward to each day.
Not only do you give concise information, but you two have been apart of my morning routine, everyday FOUR years. The smiles are audible in your voices and you guys keep news fun. TY from T from NYC! Finance alumn like you two, now I have two startups (like you two too)!
