- What happened?
Something is missing since Romola Garai left and not just her excellent voice and pacing. Things seem to have gone downhill. There are now many ads. I just heard two in a row where one seemed to be for one of those predatory gambling companies. I refuse to support companies that destroy communities and families or (like this podcast) companies that enable them. I would hate to miss future episodes but will stop listening for good if I hear any more ads like that.

She isn't auditioning for a Radio 4 short story. She is ridiculously dramatic with her intonation and pauses- as if she is reading fiction. It's unbearable- pretentious and false.
