What an interesting and candid look behind the curtain of the entertainment industry. Nice job Michael!
I’ve been a fan of this podcast since it dropped & finally got to be a guest! Michael is an experienced podcaster & great interviewer. He’s been “through” it, so he knows what questions to ask. Balanced with stories & insightful advice from both guests & Michael, Slate Your Name is entertaining, funny & often uncovers the universal truths about being an actor- and what it takes to maintain a career. I highly recommend this podcast for up & coming actors or anyone curious about our industry.
Michael does an amazing job of quickly putting his guests at ease which translates to tonnes of interesting stories and insights. I really enjoy this podcast. It’s kind of like the working actors version of “Literally with Rob Lowe”. Love it!
OMG! I love Michael! I love this podcast!!! Soooooo fun!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Found this through BCC but happy I did!! I am a writer in the Canadian independent film industry and it’s great to hear stories from people doing their best to survive in the industry in the USA . Looking forward to hearing more!! Loving it - Jo W
I may be a little biased since I came over from BCC, but I love hearing Michael (and Bryce!) talk about their acting experiences and tales from their professional lives. Now we get a full Podcast dedicated to it with other amazing actors? Most excellent!
A behind the scenes look at actors you may know and love and some you will have to watch after listening. Really fun stories with wonderful people!
I work as a talent agent and this is super fun to hear all the stories from all the working actors. Thanks for this! I will recommend it to all of my talent.
I have absolutely nothing to do with acting or show business, and this podcast is still a fascinating and delightful look into acting and the entertainment industry.
Michael is an excellent, articulate interviewer that can relax and bring out candid responses from his guests. The glimpses into what happens behind the scenes in the entertainment industry are a revelation to us outsiders. Great podcast!
You have Maria Thayer for an hour and you don’t even discuss Strangers With Candy?

Michael is a great host. The show is a fun insight into the world of acting.
Michael has a great knack for getting the fun “behind the scenes” stories from his guests. So many interview shows focus on stories that have made the rounds on other platforms. This pod showcases little known and humorous “before they made it” tales, audition horror stories and on set hi-jinx. Perfect pod for working actors looking for audition tips, aspiring screenwriters, students who are dreaming of making it into “the biz” as well as those of us who just like a fun look behind the curtain. ... more
Followed MM from BCC because I love his interviewing style. Such a natural at getting people to talk. A wonderful show for anyone who follows the performing arts.
