Jake, you are definitely part of my podcast routine! (I usually watch it on YouTube.) I was so happy to run across it. Really love your comedy, thanks!!!
Last year my sister turned me onto you on Instagram. Always a great laugh! She then told me that you had your own podcast. I’ve listened to every episode so far. I live in New York and with the stress of our political climate it’s so nice to escape it and listen to your enjoyable podcast.
This podcast is the perfect start to the week. Jake eases you in and sets you up for the day. He makes my drive to work far more bearable.
I just love Jake’s ramblings. I live in Dubai (which I love), but it’s nice to be reminded of home. Jake’s voice is just so familiar. Maybe it’s because my first job was in Slough (at the ICI Paints plant). Or maybe because he uses a lot of phrases like my oldest friend (Jules). Also love Richard Parker. I have a black cat too (and 12 cats of other colours)
I am from the UK and now live in Melbourne, we came to your show last year with our 2 teenagers it was such a fun night out. Love the podcast I work from home so it helps pass the time.

The show centers on relaxed, meandering conversations where a British comedian shares weekly reflections, travel notes, and personal anecdotes over tea. Episodes skew casual and observational, with frequent digressions into everyday life, media, and pop culture, often anchored by travel, touring, and routine as a running thread. Listeners likely value warmth, humor, and a comfortable, friend-like vibe rather than formal interview formats. A standout is the host's consistent blend of personal storytelling, off-the-cuff humor, and intimate, diary-like pacing, which feels approachable for listeners seeking light, relatable storytelling and light banter rather than high-energy or heavily produced formats.
