  • Great podcast!!

Great but please get the person that is doing the “hosting” to prep better or work on speaking skills, it’s a little hard to follow with all the mispronounced stuff and doesn’t seem professional.

  • The content is solid.

The topics and content is great. The cringe factor has become extremely high with the moderator. My advice is to stop attempting to be the cutesy girl who doesn’t exactly “get it”. You can moderate and make things easy to understand without sounding like you lack competence. I hope that this feedback lands and is helpful.

[ROUNDUP] Amy Morgan on Building, Leading, and Moving Forward with Significance in the Trade Industry
Q: What are you doing next after Altana, and how do you want the trade community to view your journey?
I'm not stepping away from global trade; I'm expanding it. I want to advise, write a book, teach, mentor, and build community around the history and humanity of trade, while helping others see that trade can be strategic with the right tools. My goal is to give the industry language and a broader role in business strategy, not just transactional work.
[ROUNDUP] Amy Morgan on Building, Leading, and Moving Forward with Significance in the Trade Industry
Q: Tell me more about the early days at Altana and what building something from the ground up looked like.
The early days were scary, exhilarating, exhausting, and exciting all at once. We wore many hats in a close-knit team, and the energy was high. It was challenging to explain a vision of AI and new trade tech to people who had experience in traditional trade, yet the rapid prototyping and collaboration with brilliant technologists made it incredibly rewarding.
[ROUNDUP] Amy Morgan on Building, Leading, and Moving Forward with Significance in the Trade Industry
Q: Amy, you went with Altana in an interesting time. It was COVID and you joined a startup. Why did you want to join a startup and why Altana?
I wasn't looking for a startup at the time. If COVID hadn't happened, I don't think I would have said yes to Altana. I'd just left Avalara and was considering something very different, even exploring teaching Pilates. The supply chain disruptions caused by COVID created the problem Altana aimed to solve, and the convergence of those factors made me realize the opportunity to contribute to something transformative in trade tech.
When B2B SaaS Sales and Marketing Speak Different Languages in Supply Chain
Q: Do you want to say some things about you? How did you get started in this industry?
Niki explains a non-traditional path into supply chain marketing, emphasizing storytelling and building proactive, relatable narratives for legislators and agencies before moving into private sector roles in B2B SaaS and consulting.
Pete & Cindy Show: An Unfiltered Conversation on Audits, Refunds, and Broker Value
Q: Can you talk a little bit more about auditing and why it matters beyond the stacking order?
Auditing everything—from purchase to payment—acts as a second checkpoint for customs, catching issues that slip through initial filings, reducing risk and helping ensure refunds are legitimate.
