  • Great podcast!!

Great but please get the person that is doing the “hosting” to prep better or work on speaking skills, it’s a little hard to follow with all the mispronounced stuff and doesn’t seem professional.

  • The content is solid.

The topics and content is great. The cringe factor has become extremely high with the moderator. My advice is to stop attempting to be the cutesy girl who doesn’t exactly “get it”. You can moderate and make things easy to understand without sounding like you lack competence. I hope that this feedback lands and is helpful.

CAPE: How to Actually Do It, with Bonnie Kersch
Q: What do importers need to do to empower their broker to file a CAPE refund and move forward with the process?
Importers should first register for an ACE account, ensure their 5106 is up to date, set up an ACH refund account for the bank that will receive refunds, pull the ES003 report for the relevant period, and then prepare a CSV with the entry numbers to upload to CAPE for processing.
From Spreadsheets to Sanity: Fixing Trade Data Chaos with AI with Brian Glick
Q: How does AI fit into the trade compliance workflow without overstepping regulatory boundaries?
AI is used to review and flag potential issues, not to replace human judgment; it's designed to help users spot anomalies, ensure data provenance, and support decision-making while avoiding uncontrolled automated decisions.
From Spreadsheets to Sanity: Fixing Trade Data Chaos with AI with Brian Glick
Q: What does Chain.io actually do to help with data exchange across brokers, forwarders, and customs systems?
Chain.io connects multiple data streams, acting as a clearinghouse that translates data into one feed for the company, and recently added Chex, an AI layer that helps ensure data follows SOPs and flags anomalies.
Startup Lessons, Trade Tech, and the Future of Supply Chain with Co-Founder Omar Abuhashish
Q: Tell me why you moved from a technical background into starting a company, and what drew you to the trade and supply chain space?
The pull came from a mix of curiosity, desire to solve real, complex problems, and early conversations with people across many industries, which revealed the substantial, unsolved challenges in trade. The decision to start Reform grew out of validating a need with the early customers and a commitment to move fast on problem discovery and product development.
[CRIMES] Locked In or Locked Out? The Tariff Case That Changed Everything
Q: What was the core takeaway about the essential character test and marketing?
The court looked at marketing and consumer expectations as crucial qualitative factors in determining the essential component, showing that what a product is marketed as and how it's used can drive its tariff classification.
