After the communists won the civil war in China and established the PRC in 1959, the U.S. imposed a trade embargo on PRC and sanctioned any country that did not do the same, while PRC was experiencing famine to starve out the Chinese. Only a handful of countries like Canada exported food to PRC. The USA has always used trade as political weapon to maintain its supremacy, in ways that makes PRC ways childlike, when it isn’t dropping bombs.

RIP Andrew - I thought it was a distasteful joke at first. Luckily, this shows content, along with Bill and Scott, will be able to maintain and still provide valuable information. Please find a different moderator, the interim one is… yikes
I think there is some good stuff here…if their producer could get everyone better audio setups, especially in conference environments and for Scott. He often sounds as if he’s talking from one end of a metal tube. It’s exhausting to listen to, so often I just hit pause, and then end up never coming back…until the next interesting episode title, where, you guessed it, the audio for Scott is just the same…so I hit pause…and in this case, leave a rating and review.

This used to be so good, but lately has become (largely through its host) boorish and has lost is insightful analysis
