Ryan is a star . I have recently discovered his Mystic Mondays podcasts. The background music is perfect and his readings from the mystics nourish my soul. Instantly. Thanks Ryan
I thought this was Russell Moore’s Signposts but I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Alabama drawl of Ryan’s instead of the Mississippian hack.
Ryan’s depth of knowledge and his passion towards this project jumps through the speakers and captivated me immediately. Thrilled I’m here for this project after it is restarted and excited to learn and engage more with you comrade!
I am so happy that you are back!! Thank you for deciding to keep the podcast going.
Awesome podcast on Thomas Merton thank you!!
Seriously enjoying discovering this podcast and it’s contents and the joyful tones of the host. If only there was more care taken over the reading out of some of the texts, it would be a five star.
One of the best, simple, informative and honest commentaries on theology and history out there. Love the interviews, different topics and perspectives.
I have heard several episodes, and Ryan has a lot of interesting content. I appreciate that he walks a fine line between skepticism and faith. He draws from writers that are off the beaten path. As an evangelical, I have also enjoyed his attention to the church calendar, something I have had no teaching on in 34 years. Keep up the good work!
I so appreciate this podcast. The host, Ryan Cagle, has a history that resonates with my own. It's been deeply inspiring to hear about his intentional journey towards the historic church. His balance of Jesus and authenticity is devoid of dogma, and full of sincerity. Expect a lot of personal stories and insight, and how they relate to the topic or guest at hand. For me, I find this approach to be refreshing and helpful.
Ryan is all about bringing forth the Kingdom on earth as it in heaven. He calls on a wide variety of religious traditions and differing perspectives to help us understand what the Kingdom is, and how we can contribute. Interesting guests and faithful, respectful questions make this a great listen! Thanks, Ryan!
Found my way here via Brad Jersak, and just listened to an older podcast on Simone Weil who has always intrigued me. I appreciate the overall theme of learning from those who have already passed on. The research of the host is thorough and heartfelt.
I have a deep and loving respect for the preacher and family who run this podcast. It's been years since I've been in church, and they make me wanna attend again. They are social justice warriors of Christ who readily acknowledge patriarchal, racial, and LBGTQIA injustices. They are wholly embracing and loving. Thank you for giving everyone a voice. I believe that's how God wants the world to be. God is love.
Keep doing Kingdom work, brother! Great stuff!
Truly enjoy each podcast. I also grew up with the narrow view and thought things should be this way or your damned. I thank God for widening my view so I could realize how much more there is, I learn something new in each podcast and I want to thank you Ryan for seeking and searching and sharing that there is so much more than what I was taught!! Keep it up!!
I just recently stumbled across this podcast from Ryan Cagle. It is very informative, real and entertaining. His episode on Brennan Manning blew me away. The older podcasts do have a bit of sound quality issues, but he has all of that resolved now. There is a lot of heavy revelation to be gleaned from all of these wonderful men of God whom Ryan shares about. I look forward to hearing more in the future. I give it 5 stars! Great job Ryan!
