Show Time Spanish

I loved the Coffee Break Spanish podcast. Showtime Spanish is not as good. While there is still the same quality of practical relatable teaching, the show biz framing seems contrived, and I can’t stand that awful theme music - I have to lower the volume whenever it comes on, it’s that annoying. But I do think it is helping me with my comprehension. I am at an A2 level and can follow most of the discussion.

I've been listening to this podcast over the past month and it has been both entertaining and useful in many many ways. I'm a Spanish student in Denmark, and it has helped me fully understand lots of grammatical subjects and has helped me getting my Spanish "to the next level" 👏

I loved coffee break Spanish and was really getting it. However, this podcast seems to make a big jump from that, leaving me pretty lost when they're spending half the episode talking rapidly in fluent Spanish, using words not even covered. Then, they don't even review what they've said. The premium version is a bit expensive so I guess I'll just be finding some other podcast to try because I'm wasting my time listening to people talk in rapid Spanish with no idea whats going on

This program – and Coffee Break Spanish – is without peer. Mark is an exceptional teacher who has designed the perfect way to learn. All the programs are set out simply and logically, progressing from one stage to the next as if he's reading your mind and knows the questions you were just about to ask. The shows push you to learn more than I thought I was capable of, always with a friendly, supportive manner, combining fun and variety with rules and sentence structure in perfect balance.

I have never studied Spanish before, but found Coffee Break Spanish a superb resource and have been listening to it whilst driving to work. Show Time Spanish follows on and it really does take you to the next level, with lots and lots of great listening practice from Mark, Alba, Jose and others. Mark’s explanations of language points are so clear and intelligent. Highly recommended!

This is most probably one of the best Spanish learning podcasts around!
