Life, limbs, booze, and personalities. SDV explores the liquor industry from both sides of the bar by interviewing the greatest personalities in the game. Although sometimes diverging into film, music, and non-booze topics, SDV is just about people with great stories. Sip, sit back, and enjoy.

I’ve been enjoying this pod for about three years. It became a go-to during my frequent walks with the dog and/or baby, and the interviews were always a good listen.
I think I like Mike G’s interviews because they’re not stories about brands, they’re stories about people and their lives, and of course how they became connected to the spirits industry. Mike is a solid interviewer that clearly puts his guests at ease and lets the interview go where it should without forcing an agenda.

If you’re into booze and the stories/makers behind them, then add this podcast to your list. But the podcast is so much more than booze—it’s about great conversation too. Mike is able to cultivate worthwhile and relaxed conversation, with a little bit of humor too. Show de Vie is truly unique in that it interviews all the important people in spirits that you don’t even know of. Take a listen and learn something new.
Sincere and soulful conversations covering the best of topics. (Also has the best intro song)
Great podcast, funny, interesting, and informative
I love this podcast, and I'm not really a podcast kinda guy. The host has a charm that seems to disarm his guests, and you end up with this story that is kinda half about the booze industry, and half about philosophy, music, films, personal experiences etc. Topics kinda run the gamut. They're been able to get some pretty big-time guests recently too, it feels like a decent mix of major corporation (grey goose, glenfiddich etc) and smaller, more "local" guests too.
