  • Content Doesn’t Match the Time

Maybe it’s because this podcast is for high-nerd mixology elites, but I find it pretentious and long winded. I do learn some stuff though so there’s that. But yeah, do you need 47 minutes devoted to the Tequila Sunrise? Maybe. But this show doesn’t actually do that. They do deconstruct the drink. But, as often as not, they also destroy it. The host and guests alike have a hard time appreciating simple tastes and tend to get way too complicated in their reinterpretations of drinks. And much of t... more

  • A Great Cocktail Podcast

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this podcast. I love how Tim and the Vine Pair team take me on an educational journey in each episode. I love how the guests are all A-Listers in the industry who know their stuff, indie out, upside down, and back to front. And I love sharing this podcast with others who all tell me that they love it too.

As an independent Irish Whiskey Educator who has come over to spirit’s from wine, I Iearn so much in each episode.

I’ve probably listened to 20 or so episodes and they’re... more

  • Excellent pod but Ad’s taking over.

I love this podcast so much and have listened through almost the whole catalog. Lately, however, the advertising from spirits companies and their reps have almost taken over the show. The two most recent episodes on the Bianco Negroni and reposado tequilas were basically just hour long advertisements for Luxardo and Herradura, the reposado episode being much more blatant. Still love most of the content which is why it’s still getting a 4, but hope they’ll consider toning down the advertising a b... more

  • THE BEST!

By far my favorite podcast on cocktails. Detailed and entertaining, Tim is an expert host and the guests are amazing. My home bar is getting more and more out of control, but I don’t mind. 😜
