  • Stunning and effective. Desperately needs a much wider audience

Shirley is a lovely person - and this interview series is stunning and she manages to access spectacularly talented and senior sailors. Her interview style is so gentle yet positively probing.

  • A truly inspirational listen

A podcast that appeals to smelly boot sailors and landlubbers alike. Shirley does not present a sailing podcast (I am sorry Shirley) but interviewing charismatic and inspirational individuals that happen to get salty. Her passion and the passion of her guests is palpable.

  • Fantastic, but any chance of amateur hour?

I love these pods. They get me re-enthused about sailing each time.

One small ask-could you do some interviews with high achieving amateurs? Maybe shorter in length, but would help us mere mortals understand how they achieve so much whilst having ‘normal’ jobs. And some of the old timers who were legends in the day. Some suggestions:

+ Alan K Warren Olympic silver medalist, Merlin rocket national champion. Story teller.

    + Nick Craig

    + Roger Gilbert

    Etc etc. thanks!
