This is an awesome podcast! While I am a member of the Titanic Historical Society, I consider myself among the rankest of landlubbers, (that is, I identify with terra-firma, I don’t smell) I enjoy reading (or watching) about maritime ‘incidents’ or disasters. And this podcast is very well researched and presented. It has very quickly become one of my favourites!
Fantastic and captivating podcast that explores maritime shipwrecks and disasters. Greatly appreciate that the episodes are global in nature and explore all time periods. An added bonus is the often historical contexts of the wrecks with interesting background information on the era discussing pertinent characters, events, historical movements that weave themselves in the stories.
I was kind of hoping to find something like this show and when I went looking… I found exactly what I was hoping for. Rich does a great job retelling stories with intrigue, gravity, and historical accuracy. It’s lead to me doing a lot of reading on my own about events I never even knew about. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing, educational and beautifully narrated podcast. This has clearly been very thoroughly researched and is presented in an interesting but factual way.
This is my favorite podcast, I can’t stop listening! Very well researched and high quality podcast.
