Dr. Taylor displays and encouraged a missing ingredient in ministry. Balance. Thankful for his wisdom in leading change, loving our spouse, staying physically fit and honoring God with our personal walk.
I appreciate the tone and content of the Shepherdology Podcast. His advice is coming from deep knowledge of God’s Word and years of pastoral ministry. If you are in the pastorate, but also if you serve in a ministry, this podcast is for you.
I have had the privilege to sit under the teaching of Dr. Taylor as he became a professor at FBBC. I have greatly appreciated his approach to the ministry of the Word and teaching that to those of us planning for ministry. This podcast is another extension of his ministry. I have been thankful for the topics he has covered and will look forward to many more episodes to come!
The content in the middle is always very practical and helpful. But I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the “bookends” of each episode, encouragement and prayer. Dr. Taylor’s words of encouragement and personal prayer are always a blessing. I believe they demonstrates his genuine love for fellow pastors AND they points to how God can use his willing servants in ways they’ll never know! His prerecorded words and prayers have been “divinely timely” for me.
No surprise that Dr. Taylor’s podcast is excellent. It is a very timely and helpful resource for Pastors and ministry leaders. Would definitely recommend for all in ministry.
