I recently (finally) got an official endometriosis diagnosis. I started listening to this podcast after surgery to listen to others experiences and learn about long term management. I’m in healthcare so I’m very cautious about believing what I see online. Oftentimes, we give people platforms that claim to be “experts” and then spread misinformation. Dr. A is genuinely so smart and (so far) everything I’ve heard (from her specifically-not all of the guests) has been research backed and well infor... more
I think it’s irresponsible for this podcast to promote an unnecessary cosmetic procedure.
I was weary about a few things. Then they got on board with the popular idea that you shouldn’t eat foods with ingredients you can’t pronounce. This “rule” creates unnecessary fear. So many healthy, beneficial ingredients have complicated scientific names. They really think have should have iron? Vitamin D? Any good dietician or real doctor will tell you this “rule” is crazy. I won’t be listening anymore.
life changing podcast prior and post pcos diagnosis - this podcast, specifically the episode with sofia richie grainge was what led me to finally get help and get diagnosed based on their discussion about inflammation. i suffered for so many years with many symptoms and the information and education on this podcast is truly life changing for young women suffering in silence. it finally allowed me to put the pieces together of what was wrong and encouraged and empowered me to get a consultation w... more
5/5 review for me! I’ve been in healthcare for almost 10 years, my dad recently asked my advice on women’s health for a family member and I had no idea what to say. My background is in critical care and women’s health is not my specialty. I’ve learned so much on this podcast that will benefit not only myself but my patients. Thank you so much!
