  • KEEP IT UP!!

Shaye is great. Anyone who is saying he presents anything other than a balanced view is just a whiner. Oh no…someone challenges my viewpoint! That’s how you learn to think critically folks. Get off of Facebook.

  • Propaganda

This ‘show’ imo is mostly lib narratives from Ottawa. Experts spout an approved message, callers aren’t real, not much better than CBC. Democracy not possible without independent media

  • Too many posts per day

Unfollowed because I don’t need 7 posts a day in my podcast feed. Content is good. Post full episodes not cut up and I will follow again.

  • Love this show

I really appreciate how this show remains balanced. Even though the hosts’ political views sometimes shine through, I admire how Shaye and the guests keep things neutral while holding guests accountable. Your show helps me stay centered politically in a world where it's so easy to lean far right or left. It's such a refreshing change from some one sided news outlets. Keep up the fantastic work, Sara and Shaye! Sorry if I spelt you names wrong

  • Intolerable

Tried, really tried to listen to morning Shaye after Danielle’s firing. Have never heard a more rude, arrogant, interruptive, impatient talk radio host. Shaye is lazy and deadens any enquiry that goes against his narrative. Have switched to 640am (also Corus) and their hosts are informative, welcome debates/discussions and highlight much more of what’s going on in Canada by bringing on unbiased guests. Highlighting all sides and not the regurgitated, Government approved talking points.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Trans Mountain proves the business case for a West Coast pipeline
Q: Heather, you mentioned it. Give us a little more detail because one of the arguments against the proposed pipeline is you can't even fill the one you've got.
Heather responds that TMX is already full and the pipeline system is under pressure to expand; there is demand from shippers for more space, and future growth hinges on how quickly new capacity can be constructed and whether additional buyers, including Asian partners, will commit to off-take or equity arrangements to ensure utilization.
Canada’s workforce is aging. Is it the wisdom economy — or a cost crunch?
Q: What is the difference between a knowledge economy and a wisdom economy?
The knowledge economy centers on information and expertise available to perform tasks, while the wisdom economy emphasizes the ability to integrate diverse information, make sound decisions, and communicate value effectively—especially as data becomes abundant.
What are AI data centres? A closer look as Canada eyes a ‘large-scale’ push
Q: What are the concerns with AI data centers?
The concerns include energy and water usage, environmental impact, and the risk that local communities bear costs without receiving commensurate benefits; ensuring social license and meaningful community programs is essential to avoid backlash and abandonment of projects.
‘Still a need for certainty’: Analyst on the push for Canada as an energy superpower
Q: Are you optimistic about the industry's ability to translate promises and pledges into meaningful, tangible action, or are you getting frustrated that we haven't seen real change yet?
I am in the optimistic camp, believing that execution comes after the commitment, and that the government's clear and repeated pledges indicate real movement toward responsible energy development, even if progress takes time.
‘Still a need for certainty’: Analyst on the push for Canada as an energy superpower
Q: The question is whether the energy will come from Canada, developed responsibly, in partnership with Indigenous Peoples, creating good jobs for our workers, and generating revenue that we can use to pay for the public services we care about, or whether it will come from places that don't share our values.
I believe the answer should be Canada.
