  • Why have guests

Why bother having a guest on , when you answer your own questions. Especially when you have David Staples on you treat him very poorly, and really show your self centred bully mentality

  • Content great but formatting leaves a lot to be desired.

I’d love to see you guys reformat content a little bit to fit the podcast format. I hate opening the app and seeing 4 or more clips for the same show. It makes me want to unsubscribe because it pushes my other podcasts down. You certainly aren’t the only sports radio program doing this which makes the issue worse in my view. Y’all please get together and figure this out.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Oilers Radio Network Analyst Rob Brown (5/13/26)
Q: What do you think should be the next coaching move for the Oilers if Knobloch were to move on?
An experienced coach who can quickly implement defensive structure and still allow McDavid and Drysdail to excel; Cassidy is a strong option, but Laviolette could also fit if Cassidy isn't available.
TSN & The Athletic's Chris Johnston (5/13/26)
Q: Could the Oilers make a move with Knobloch and bring in an experienced coach who has won before?
The guest entertains the possibility but notes it would depend on fit with the team's needs and the ownership/GM strategy, indicating a willingness to consider multiple options.
TSN & The Athletic's Chris Johnston (5/13/26)
Q: Chris, would they be in on Bruce Cassidy?
The guest suggests it's not a perfect fit for Edmonton right now, but acknowledges Cassidy's track record and appeal; the decision depends on broader organizational alignment and future plans.
NHL Hockey on Rogers' Elliotte Friedman (5/12/26)
Q: On this situation, hypothetically, if Edmonton makes a change, does Bruce Cassidy make sense for you?
Friedman responds that Cassidy is highly regarded and would be a strong option if Edmonton is seeking a coach with a proven defensive system and winning pedigree, though the fit also depends on whether the organization believes they can upgrade the roster to contend.
Author & Former NHL Player Brantt Myhres (5/8/26)
Q: Brant, how are you doing?
Brant answers about his well-being and background, transitioning to discussion.
