Thank you for pursuing Shandy’s case and the failures of the Queensland Forensic Lab, Hedley - you ( and Kirsty) have really held the government to account, along with the lazy, inept, dishonest public servants who have totally failed Queenslanders, especially victims of crimes.
If only all journalists had such integrity and worked as diligently and thoroughly.

I can not believe the way these brutal crimes are being handled. It makes me physically sick to think about how the victims are being treated and how they must be coping.
There are perpetrators out there that are continuing to cause harm knowing that they are getting away with it. Who, within the powers that be, has to be harmed by one of the perpetrators before the correct procedures are performed.
It breaks my heart for everyone who has been affected by this injustice to QLD.

Thank goodness Hedley picked this up and thank goodness we no longer have that rotten labour Govt in power, who would’ve been happy to sweep it all under the carpet. Without Hedley’s high profile and dogged determination, they never would’ve addressed this issue.
