The wows just kept coming as I binge listened to all episodes of Shandee’s Story. As if Shandee’s story isn’t harrowing enough, the QLD Health DNA lab’s failures of epic proportions and subsequent cover ups are absolutely mind blowing. I am praying that Shandee and her family will get the justice they deserve.

What a tragic story. I so hope they find Shandee’s killer. She deserved so much more than life offered.
I enjoyed the in-depth long-form journalism of Hedley Thomas. I may have missed this in the podcast, and if so, I apologize, will the samples tested for DNA that came back NO DNA, be retested by a different, impartial lab? And if they found a different result would that be considered new evidence to reopen for retrial?
