  • Too slow and drawn out.

I feel terrible for Edens family. They seem like really great parents. The podcast really could have been 10 episodes. Very drawn out, very repetitive, lots of conversations are cut up and I feel it discredits the story. Clearly something is a miss, the police have not handled this well and I too would have questions if I were the family.

Absolutely tragic that this poor young girl’s murder was swept under the rug. I admire her parents and their strength and courage. I’m so glad this podcast is helping them fight this fight. Justice for Eden.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

A Family Member Speaks
Q: What reforms or investigations does the solicitor believe are needed in Tasmania?
He advocates for further investigations and inquiries to cast a proper light on what occurred, with emphasis on accountability for police and institutions that failed to protect children.
A Family Member Speaks
Q: Why are these claims pursued as individual actions rather than a class action?
Because abuse affects individuals in unique ways and the damages, circumstances, and timelines vary, making a single, uniform action impractical and potentially unjust for many survivors.
The Black Hairband -Never Released News
Q: Can I ask, Amanda, would Eden have had a black hairband?
Eden would not have typically had a black hairband, as the family used colors that matched their children's uniforms and avoided black.
Raw Emotions: Eden’s Parents Speak Out
Q: Do you feel like you're closer?
Jason stated they are closer than ever because they now have substantial evidence suggesting Eden met foul play and they're determined to pursue justice.
Raw Emotions: Eden’s Parents Speak Out
Q: How are you feeling now?
Jason expressed deep frustration and anger over the investigation's mishandling but also a sense of hope due to updates from a high-profile barrister who has agreed to take on their case.
