My workroom routine always involves listening to my podcasts. The Sew Much More Podcast is of course, at the top of my list. 😊
Hearing the conversations of other workroom owners provides a ‘kinship’ of sorts.
Our experiences are shared by others, both good and not so good. These stories are motivating, like that feeling we have attending the CWC conference or CHF conference in the past. Ceil provides us with a taste of that excitement of meeting our counterparts.

Listening to Ceil talk with various entrepreneurs in this industry and hearing all about how they got their start, what struggles they’ve had, what successes they’ve had, and what advice they can give to others has definitely been one of the best things I’ve discovered recently. I’ve operated my own workroom for 23 years, and I can identify with so many of these experiences, but also have gained a sense of direction for my future from listening. Thank you, Ceil, for doing this!
Working as a solo upholsterer can be so isolating, but listening to The Sew Much More podcast makes me feel like I’m in a room with my peers. At some point in every episode I find myself agreeing out loud with something a guest is saying 😅I look forward to every episode.
I can’t get enough of this podcast!! I wait each week to see who Ceil is going to interview. I am always amazed how open and honest and willing the guest are to share their experiences with the audience. It always makes me appreciate the hard work that goes into both interior design & custom workrooms.
I look so forward to Sunday mornings when I can relax with my cup of coffee and listen to Ceil’s podcast. Always informative, inspiring, fun, and sometimes deeply emotional. I feel like I have a connection with each person being interviewed. It’s amazing how similar our stories all are on how we got started in the business, our love of sewing and creating all things beautiful. Each week as she is asking her usual questions I find my self answering them to myself...they make me think about all ... more
