  • For Young Fans only

The discussions are almost always on Hasbro and newer lines so if you are older and like discussions on older or even 3rd party this isn’t for you. I like the crew but being a fan of older Transformers there just isn’t anything here for me.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast #398 "Secret Agent Menasor"
Q: Across any form of media, what was the best handled character death?
The group leans toward deaths that carry weight beyond shock value, citing examples from IDW where the aftermath and consequences (like Ravage and Starscream) create meaningful momentum and closure, rather than gratuitous shocks.
Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast #397 "The Burden Hardest to Bear"
Q: Has Transformers become more about preserving its legacy than reinventing itself, and what would a truly radical reboot look like?
The group agrees that the franchise has leaned into nostalgia and legacy preservation, but several speakers express that a radical reboot could involve making Transformers an entertainment property first, with a bold, new cast and potentially a different media strategy, including gaming or high-budget media, before returning to toys.
Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast #396 "Listener Inquisition"
Q: What is the listeners' list's take on Thunderwing as a Missing Link candidate?
Thunderwing was presented as a high-ambition pick representing a potential for a Japanese export-style release in Missing Link, highlighting the allure of ultra-pretenders and exclusive lines, though feasibility remains uncertain.
Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast #396 "Listener Inquisition"
Q: Which two characters were proposed as the most realistic Missing Link layups and why?
Soundwave was suggested as a straightforward Missing Link layup due to its classic G1 design and potential for a strong articulation upgrade; Side Swipe and a Delta Magnus-based repaint were discussed as a plausible pair due to existing lines and crossover possibilities.
Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast #396 "Listener Inquisition"
Q: What Diaclone chrome trailer variant was discussed in relation to Delta Magnus, and would Missing Link ever use that chrome chrome?
The group explained that the chrome silver trailer variant existed in the Diaclone Powered Convoy set, but they're skeptical Missing Link would pursue such chrome for Delta Magnus; the chrome version is unlikely unless a special event exclusive necessitates it.
