  • Thoroughly enjoyable

First podcasts don’t get much better than this. This episode gives us an insight into how Dennis’ research has gone on to save thousands of women’s lives in Ireland and across the world. As a first time podcast host, John did a wonderful job and I can’t wait to hear more. You really don’t need to be a medical professional to enjoy this.

Episode 5 - Dr Sara Hurvitz
Q: What has impressed you the most so far in some of the talks, and what topics are you looking forward to?
I'm impressed by novel combinations for aggressive breast cancers, data on circulating tumor DNA, and new therapies like CDK4/6 inhibitors; the field is rapidly evolving with data that may change practice.
Episode 5 - Dr Sara Hurvitz
Q: Sara, a couple of quick points. How have you enjoyed the meeting so far?
I've enjoyed it very much; attending since the early iterations and watching the Steering Committee grow has been amazing, and the talks are superb with cutting-edge technologies that promise to help patients.
Episode 11 - Anthony Scaramucci
Q: What are your thoughts on free speech and its impact on innovation?
He asserts free speech as a cornerstone of intellectual and economic growth, contrasting open discourse with authoritarian constraints and linking creativity to long-term prosperity.
Episode 11 - Anthony Scaramucci
Q: How do you view the role of gerrymandering in future elections?
He argues that gerrymandering skews electoral fairness, limiting contestable districts and effectively letting politicians pick voters, which undermines democratic ideals and calls for reform.
Episode 11 - Anthony Scaramucci
Q: Would you predict the next U.S. presidential nominees and what informs that view?
The guest sketches a view that certain candidates may be limited by their associations with Trump, suggesting some would be worn down by MAGA dynamics, while others might emerge from anti-Trump currents; the prediction emphasizes political durability and party alignment rather than straightforward polls.
