I wanted to like this show, it has a lot of potential but John’s Missouri takes are bizarre. His fixation with either pretending they don’t exist or when obligated to acknowledge them gives takes chalk full of double standards and void of reality all because their geography I guess? Hope the show can improve.
I listen to this podcast to forget my problems for a minute. I settled in for a good episode only to hear a preview for another podcast that highlights the abduction and murder of a woman. Thanks for the reminder my whole life was ripped apart.
Love the takes on this pod and the hosts have such great chemistry. (I promise I won’t counter that chemistry comment next year though if things go downhill). John’s jokes and jabs are hysterical.
You two are a positive that anyone can have a podcast. Do you actually think what you say is correct???
Informed takes. Looking to add an SEC angle into my cfb consumption. Sensible opinions. The podcast was referenced in an article I read. Impressed. Quality journalism

Two hosts from a USA TODAY Network show trade sharp takes on SEC football, conference realignment, coaching futures, and playoff odds with a brisk banter-driven rhythm. Episodes consistently mix data-driven discussion (polls, schedules, rankings) with insider anecdotes, rising QB storylines, and coaching carousel dynamics, making it appealing to listeners who want informed opinions served with personality. A notable trait is the willingness to debate across hot-button topics—ranging from expansion feasibility to NIL-era program narratives—while keeping the tone practical for fans, sponsors, and competing outlets.
What stands out is a strong SEC focus balanced with national playoff chatter, high engagement banter, and a readiness to spotlig... more
