  • Foul language and unlicensed advice

Scary how much financial advice is given by people with absolutely no qualifications. It’s a big bogan property bro pat yourself on the backfest riddled with bad language and toxic bro culture aimed mainly at selling courses. And fellas you are not property geniuses for buying property when interest rates were zero and everyone was forced to live in their houses fuelling the biggest housing property boom in Australia’s history. That’s called good luck.

  • Self-promoting echo chamber

A few bits of big-picture value having listened for a fair while, and some good case studies, but there’s definitely a point of diminishing returns. After that point it just feels like tuning in to a lengthy infomercial designed to sell you School of Property.

The co-host doesn’t need to harp every episode about the value of engaging professional help… It just comes across as a sycophantic sales pitch.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sammy's Biggest Fears, Does Rentvesting Still Work + Is $100k Passive Achievable in 5 Years?!
Q: What fear do you actually have in the market right now?
Policy changes that overturn favorable housing measures could spur a rental and price growth cycle that overshoots real fundamentals, benefiting other investors in the short term but potentially harming long-term stability for regular buyers and renters.
Sammy's Biggest Fears, Does Rentvesting Still Work + Is $100k Passive Achievable in 5 Years?!
Q: Is it possible to start at 20 and build 100,000 income off rent by 25?
With a strong work ethic, multiple deposits, and aggressive portfolio growth, it could be possible, but it requires sacrificing personal time, working weekends, and a high degree of strategic leverage to accelerate returns across several properties.
How Sammy would start again from Scratch, Setting Goals and SEQ Deal or No Deal?
Q: What's your best advice for someone getting started in investing today?
Get into the market as quickly as possible when you're in peak momentum, but couple that with solid education and mentorship. Save aggressively, consider secondary income to boost purchasing power, and choose a reputable mentor or strategist who has a proven track record to guide execution and avoid overpaying. The goal is to combine speed with discipline and education.
How Sammy would start again from Scratch, Setting Goals and SEQ Deal or No Deal?
Q: For you, Sammy, how do I set goals? Is 4 million house debt free plus 500,000 net passive feasible?
The goal is feasible in theory, but it requires a clear starting point, a realistic plan, and reverse engineering from the target. It involves evaluating current assets, debt, and income, then mapping out how many deals and what type of portfolio is needed to generate the required net passive income while considering risk and time horizon.
Dominating in a Bear Market, 5% Deposit Scheme + How to Nail a Property Sale
Q: Is One Nation or Labour better for property investment and wealth creation?
The hosts express a strong view that Labour policies are not favourable for property investors and that the generational impact of policy changes matters, but they acknowledge policy effects vary by generation and context; the segment ultimately frames political policy as a factor to consider when planning long-term investing in Australia.
